Let us sort this out. A few questions
1. Why is it that I have been asked to do the mission where you have to stop the general from securing some sort of deal in NightFall? I have already done it
2. Why do people buy 15plat armour when the 1plat armour does the same stuff? 3a. When / where can I change my secondary profession? 3b. When / where can I change my heroes secondary professions? 3c. I just started playing on like Monday. Right now I have a Necro/Ranger level 19 (nearly 20) but I feel that Ranger does not really suit my char. I was thinking of going for the ultimate squishy - N/E lvl 20 :P what do you think of this? Last edited by 3246251196; Aug 26, 2007 at 12:27 AM // 00:27.. |

1) No idea
2) They have money to waste, i have 15k because it looks nice but it has no benefit in battle 3a) After the mission Captured! i think 3b) Anytime you want, Press "k" and click the face of the hero then you should see a drop down box above attributes 3c) Never played Necro so can't help on that |

3a) You can't change your second profession until you've ascended. There is no formal ascension quest in nightfall, just all the command center quests.

There's a little mistake above me. The quest "Hunted!" is in Kourna.

All missions are repeatable aren't they? only reason for doing it again is if you did not get Masters on it.

1. Why is it that I have been asked to do the mission where you have to stop the general from securing some sort of deal in NightFall? I have already done it
If it's a mission, all missions are repeatable. 2. Why do people buy 15plat armour when the 1plat armour does the same stuff? People pay more for rarer, cooler looking armor skins. There's no accounting for taste. Because Guild Wars is more about skill and builds, armor and equipment items have capped max values. 3a. When / where can I change my secondary profession? Depending on the Campaign, once your character has passed the Trials of Ascension, became Weh no Su or completed the Hunted! quest. 3b. When / where can I change my heroes secondary professions? You can change a Hero skill and profession build anytime while in a town or outpost by pressing "k" and selecting the applicable Hero. There are Hero Skill Trainers located at various places throughout the game. Heroes also will have access to any skills you have unlocked on your account if they are the correct Profession combination. |

Excellent stuff guys. Thank you. Really good forum
3246251196 has always been my name for mathematical reasons. Let us not bring it into play. I use it a lot on other forum. For short, you could just call me Ryan or 324 EDIT: One more thing - how do you know if you still have quests to do in GW? Or do you just have to run around looking for ! ? |

Thanks HMA, but I meant - is there a way to find if there are people who still have quests for you that you have not started or seen yet. Or do you have to just run around?

The following link will show you every quest for nightfall:
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Quests_%28Nightfall%29 You will have to run around to see if you have done them yet or not. I've always wanted a page that listed your completed quests and missions. |

ok.
because you dont get into prophecies/factions until you are a later level - does this mean that the quests for people who ONLY have factions are not all available. for instance, i go from NF to Factions - can the people who ONLY have factions do the quests i am doing (those ones given in factions from when i went to NF - for instance, helping Togo in that battle before he dies!) |

You can do the same quests people in Factions can do, except if you try to go back to Shing Jea. There are no quests for a foreign character there.

Basically, to simplify what maniac said, all "noob island" areas quests are exclusive to that campaign (though you can still go there and do the missions and there are a few things to do).
